Review: Dermacolor fixing powder

What is it: Dermacolor Fixing Powder waterproofs, sets and mattes Camouflage Cream. 

Available in P1 white, P2 light, P3 light beige, P4 soft brown, and P5 dark

Initially, I was looking for a setting powder - that should lasts on me without retouching. And I wouldn't lie, I read about this Dermacolor from Camille from littlebeautybag, and I was sold by her review when she said it's waterproof! and It can make your make-up stay matte. Seriously, It's like An Anti-shine with water-proofing ingredients in it. And I said to myself, I have to have it!

I found it worked well on me by making my skin not sweaty anymore, a bit more brighter, and it kept my makeup looking fresh throughout half of the day. What I liked was that it felt like an extremely lightweight powder. It also has a micro-shimmers on it, but it’s so subtle I hardly notice it.

The packaging is simple but effective.  I feel like a little goes a long way, so this tube\ should last me six months or longer of regular usage.

Pros:

Sweatproof!

Comes in a very big tub

Powder is finely milled - This is really important for smooth applications

Instantly brightens your face - I believe it has this micro-shimmers on it, unnoticeable I must say.

Cons:

Matte-ness doesn't stay for long

Overall, I love this product even if it doesn't control my oiliness that long. I would be repurchasing this again if ever I ran out of this.

First Impression: TFS Eyelash and Spirit gum

I heard about this false eyelashes from Nikki of Askmewhats - And according from her, this is your best bet when you want achieve a natural lashes that is not so over-dramatic, just perfect for everyday looks.

Based on my own experience, I have to agree with nikki, this is a natural looking lashes considering it has this criss-cross cut, but I bet you, once you tried this on, It instantly gives you full lashes but very natural looking.

Been using this over a past 2 weeks now, and I got some compliment/s, asking if my lashes were extensions.. They were a bit surprised when I said this are just falsies.. Anyhow.. One thing that I didn't like about this is, the glue that came with it, I felt it was the glue I used when I was in my Elementary. . It failed big-time. It made my eyes irritated..

And I just replaced that glue with this. .

Cinema Secret's spirit gum. I love using this, aside from it's transparency, It's very easy to apply, just one sweep to the rim of the lashes and wait for like 30-60seconds to dry it up, and voila you can now stick it to your line closer to your lashes. 

Just in case, there is an alignment problem, worry no more, because you can always remove it and stick it again, you don't need to re-apply.

My take:

I fely my ever-dry lips became softer, smoother in an instant! and oh, no more flakiness! yay to that!

How soon did I see the effect?

I used this stuff on bedtime, and amazingly after I woke up, I felt the change! I'm super happy!

How long will it last?

It lasted on me like 5 hours, and I'll just re-apply it, and bam no more dry lips for me. Actually after that 5hours, my lips is still soft actually, I just need to reapply because I just want to. :)

Side Effects:

NONE. I find this product amazing!!!!!

First Impression: Benefit Coralista Blush

This is my very first Benefit blush. I couldn't believe that I just owned it now. gahh! I super like the color pay-off! It's corally-pink, just the perfect color for summer. 

When you wear this blush, It gives you that glowing healthy skin which I like!  This blush is just Gorgeous, Gorgeous.  By the way, , I didn't include any swatch of this blush because I forgot to take a picture of it but I know there are tons of swatches of this because a lot of beauty bloggers already reviewed this blush. 

I highly recommend this blush to everyone. 

First Impression: Avon super extend mascara

I was not too impressed when I first used this, I feel like it just define and lengthen a bit, nothing dramatic/volumizing. After playing around with it, I have come to like it much better. This mascara works best if you apply it on 3 coats, By this technique, It will make your lashes  longer.

The mascara doesn't dry or flakes at least for me. Overall, I'm happy with it. But I'm still looking out for a mascara that will give volume and make my lashes longer at the same time.
